If after much thought and consideration as a household you have made the final decision to bring a new pet into your family, adopting is the best and most rewarding way to go about it.
Every shelter has its own process to complete an adoption, and here at Broken Souls we try to make it as fast and simple as possible to free up the space for another animal in need.
Adult (5years +) Dogs: £150
Cats (6months+): £50
Kittens: £75 each or £100 pair £150 triplets
Rodents & Rabbits: £10 & £20
Fees are payable by cash during the home check, cheques during the home check made payable to: Broken Souls Rescue
or direct transfer online before the handover.
Please Note: Home checks outside a 10 mile radius may require fuel donations. please check with us. London home checks require a minimum £30 donation to cover fuel and toll charges. Home checks further than 300 miles may require a video call home check and the dog collecting from us.
A simple contract is filled out between yourself and BSR. This covers basics like keeping us updated, returning the animal only to ourselves should something go wrong and, agreeing to meet a certain standard of care for the pet e.g. vaccinations, flea/worm treatments.
The adoption fee and any pre agreed or discussed additional costs are paid by cash or cheque.
Your new adopted Fur Baby gratefully comes to start their new life with you!
All animals adopted form Broken Souls after April 2016 will be micro chipped and it is the owners responsibility and condition of adoption that they immediatley register their details with the microchip company.
We try to have all our animals neutered before we bring them to their new homes butit isn't always possible. Any animal not neutered for whatever reason will need to be spayed or castrated within 6 months of adoption unless medical reasons prevent this.
We will contact you by phone or email to have proper chat and gather more information. We like to talk to each applicant individually as it allows us to understand everyone's unique ability to give. We value time, patience and experience far more than money or property size.
